Brazil’s precocious young physicist who won a Nobel prize for his discoveries

Who is César Lattes?

Growing up with his group of Italian migrants in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, Lattes started to concentrate on material science and math, at last taking his examinations to the College of São Paulo, from which he graduated in 1943.

At 25 years old, he established the Brazilian Community for Actual Exploration alongside numerous associates who might proceed to become significant names in material science.

What is the pion?
